Sally Selected for BAFTA Crew 2021

Northern Sole Productions founder Sally Cancello has been selected as a writer/director for the prestigious BFI Network x BAFTA crew 2021. BAFTA Crew is part of BFI NETWORK's UK-wide talent development scheme, which aims to support the next generation of film, games and television talent through insights from BAFTA winners and nominees, and a community of peers and future collaborators.

Fargate Wins Big at the LA Global Film Festival Awards

Fargate has scooped up three awards at the 2020 Global Film Festival Awards in Los Angeles! The short film picked up accolades for Best Comedy Short, Best First-Time Director and Best Actress (Gillian Waugh), and also received an Honorary Mention for Best Original Score. Congrats to the team!

Fargate Premieres at Manchester International Film Festival

Fargate had its premiere at the prestigious BIFA-qualifying Manchester International Film Festival on 10th March 2020. Sally was invited to speak on an industry panel at the festival with Julia Berg and Rebecca England. She was also interviewed on the red carpet - check out the video here!
